Biggest form of slavery is in church, under law
HS knows exactly where and when He's taking you. What He starts, He will finish. God is always preparing u for the next season while you're in the current season.
God brings in key people in ur life at key moments bcos he knows exactly what He wants u to do. He knows ur destiny & what u need to fulfil it.
1 Thess 4:1-2 (MSG)
HS is ur dance partner not ur drill sergeant
When u dance with a brilliant dancer, the brilliant dancer makes u look good
When u dance with a brilliant dancer, the brilliant dancer makes u look good
Just let HS lead u in the dance & direction
When you want to go the wrong way, He won't let u. He doesn't stop dancing with you and scold you. He holds u tighter & leads u the right way. Nevermind if we step on His toes or get it wrong, He'll just continue leading & showing us. The Grace of God teaches us.
God has promised people things that haven't yet come to pass for 10-20 years. & u get disappointed bcos u think Lord, when r u going to answer this prayer? When am i going to see ur restoration?
God wants to tell u tt He has not forgotten the promises He made to u & He will bring them to pass.
U have placed all ur faith in God but it seems like heaven is not coming to help?
Even though He seems like He's hiding or heaven is silent, God is doing His best in ur worst.
Romans 8:22, 28
All of creation is groaning, but we're not called to worry about that. We know why creation is groaning
Know that all things will eventually work together for our good bcos we love God (v28)
Start of Romans 8 = I know <-- it's easy to be on fire at the start
End of Romans 8 = I know <-- it's easy to look back and say aha! on hindsight
But in between Romans 8 = I don't know <-- This is when spirit of grace comes to help in our seasons of I don't know.
Isaiah 45:15
Truly u are a God who hides urself
God hid himself…
… in an infant's cry tt pharaoh couldn't find Him
… in carpenter tt own family didn't recognise
… in cross tt devil didn't understand
… in mary's womb tt innkeeper missed an opportunity to serve the King
God hid Himself in opportunities for us to serve but sometimes we're too busy to see
When God hides himself in seasons of our life, He's actually not absent at all. He will never leave nor forsake us. (Deut 31:6)
Ur prayers r heard even though heaven may seem silent.
Sometimes God comes to us with an unusual instruction and it seems unnatural to respond to it. But God is doing something behind it. Things tt defy reason. It may seem strange, but just do it.
E.g. Peter going to get $ to pay taxes from fishes' mouth.
E.g. Joshua asking for strategy & God saying to circumcise the men.
E.g. Moses holding rod to part the red sea
On hindsight these look wonderful and "wow!", but at that point of time, it would have seemed extremely strange, even stupid / against human logic.
Some of us have to let go of something.
God sometimes hides himself in the unexplained delays of density.
E.g. Mary & Martha were upset when Jesus didn't turn up on time and Lazarus died for 3 days.
Jesus didn't turn up when the situation was difficult, He turned up when it was totally impossible. And he meant for it to be that way. When God turns up, He's always perfectly on time.
Bcos He didn't want to show smth pple could imagine (e.g. healing for a sick Lazarus). He wanted to show the unimaginable - the far above every thing we can ask or imagine (Eph 3:20)
Sometimes Jesus doesn't answer things our way bcos He wants to exceed it & show us a wonder.
Psalm 77:14
U are the God who does wonders
The reason for God's delay is bcos He wants to take u to another level, to the far above everything u can ask or imagine.
If God can get Jesus out of hell, He will definitely b able to get u out of urs too.
What's turned into impossible in ur life? Look out, because that's the time Jesus is going to turn up!
